Township in Lahore, Pakistan is a residential area located in the south of Lahore on the map. It is one of the largest residential society of Lahore developed by Lahore Development Authority- LDA.

Township Scheme comprises four main sectors, A, B, C and D that is also known as Green Town. A block is further divided in A1 and A2, A1 area is under Government Employees Co-operative Housing Society and is fully maintained and gates surround this area that remain closed for most of the time for security reasons. Houses in A1 range from 20 marlas to 80 marlas. Sector A2 comprises mostly 5 marla homes.A1 and A2 are joined with the main road named "Haider Road" that is a very busy road with many businesses.
Sector B comprises B1 and B2. A small portion of B1 Sector comprises bigger houses, while a big portion of the sector comprised 5 marla houses. While B2 Sector is mostly covered with 5-marla houses, the outer boundary houses range from 10-marlas to 40 marlas in area.People of B2 are educated and doing job in govt and private sector,MUBEEN KHAN is a very fame person in this area. B1 Sector has one of the biggest market of Lahore. There is always rush in that area and the place is always filled with people and roads are most of the time blocked with minibuses, buses, cars and bicycles. The market is mainly famous for Vegetables and fruits that are available on a very low price and very fresh, people visit that place from very far places just to get their weekly stock of vegetables and fruits.Shah family is most popular family in B1.
Sector C comprises C1 and C2. Some portion of C1 comprises relatively bigger houses while a some portion comprises small houses. Sector C is famous for and marriage halls. C block is located adjacent to "College Road" which separates Township from Johar Town and Punjab Society.
Sector D comprises D1 and D2, currently known as "Green Town"; this area is a separate town but still it is the part of Township scheme. Sector D is joined with Sector C on its North-West while Sector A is separated with colleges, schools and a hospital. Sector D is separated from Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Area with Green Town Road. Sector D has the Largest All Asia Square Water tank fulfilling the needs of water of Sector D and Sector C.
Township has its own a Market which fulfills the needs of residents. Although other markets nearby are available for shopping including Model Town Link Road and Liberty Market, Gulberg. Township have also Printing Market near township main market stop you can go there and make all types of printing Paper Printing Cloth & Plastic banners and sign boards maker are there like Zem printers
Transportation system in township is very vast and almost all the buses and vans covers the Township area, Daewoo Bus number 10, 16 and 11 can be used to enter in the Township area and further Bus number 20 and 40 can be used to reach inside areas.
Many restaurants, food chains, offices, jewellery market and banks are establishing in this area. All types of food can be found here ranging from fast food to Pakistani food including Chinese.

There are many Marriage halls inside and in outskirts of township among which there are "Marhaba Marriage Hall" (C1 Township), "Al-Noor banquet hall","Maharaja Palace" and in outskirts or Township there are many halls that are included in Johar Town Scheme among which the most famous are "Al-Jannat Marriage hall", "Al-Quresh Banquet Hall", "Johar Banquet" "Qasr-e-Jamal Banquet Hall" and many more.
